Connectivity Issue with Cloudflare Insights Beacon Script

Dear Cloudflare Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to address a connectivity issue that I have been experiencing with the Cloudflare Insights beacon script. When trying to load the script on my website, I am encountering the error message “net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED,” indicating a problem with the network connection between my browser and the server hosting the script.

I have tried troubleshooting steps such as checking my internet connection, clearing browser cache and cookies, and disabling firewall or security software, but the issue persists. I am reaching out to seek assistance from the Cloudflare community in resolving this problem.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this connectivity problem with the Cloudflare Insights beacon script, I would greatly appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thank you in advance for your help and support. I look forward to hearing from the Cloudflare community and working together to address this issue.

Best regards,

Hi there,
Could I advise you to check the following points :

  1. Check if Cloudflare’s IPs are allowlisted in your server’s firewall settings.
  2. Ensure that your DNS settings in the Cloudflare dashboard are correct and that the relevant subdomains are proxied (orange cloud).
  3. Try accessing the script directly in your browser using the script’s URL to see if the issue is with the script’s server.
  4. Look for any Cloudflare-related errors in your server logs.
  5. If the problem persists, Could I ask you to raise a ticket with us internally to help investigate this further.

i guess it was cached since i deactivated Mirage from Cloudflare after purge cache and wait for some time now the url opens when it gets loaded

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am experiencing while using Lightspeed Cache in conjunction with Cloudflare Pro. Despite deactivating Lightspeed Cache, I continue to encounter an error message stating that there is no expiration header. This problem persists even after a day of deactivation.

I have ensured that the issue is not related to Mirage, as I have read that it may be a common misconception. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on resolving this issue and ensuring that the expiration header is properly set.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt assistance in resolving this issue.

seek further assistance with an issue related to Lightspeed Cache. Despite deactivating Lightspeed Cache, I have noticed that it is still optimizing certain files, such as the following:

<script data-optimized="1" src="https://steelpich.com/wp-content/litespeed/js/aa736122efb36ad1d2c134e1836d0b00.js?ver=9c102"></script><script defer src="https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js/v84a3a4012de94ce1a686ba8c167c359c1696973893317" integrity="sha512-euoFGowhlaLqXsPWQ48qSkBSCFs3DPRyiwVu3FjR96cMPx+Fr+gpWRhIafcHwqwCqWS42RZhIudOvEI+Ckf6MA==" data-cf-beacon='{"rayId":"86c78a2a19846644","version":"2024.3.0","token":"c320db515a8841dbb9b742d6d467fc4f"}' crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

I am unable to completely stop using Lightspeed Cache as it has improved my website’s performance and my server is configured with Lightspeed. However, I would like to avoid Lightspeed optimizing specific files, as it seems to be causing conflicts with other services.

Could you please advise on how I can prevent Lightspeed from optimizing certain files while still benefiting from its overall performance improvements? Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this request, and I look forward to your assistance in resolving this issue.
