I’ve tried but I give up. I have dreamhost and cloudflare. I created a eshop on Ecwid and trying to connect to my subdomain. I have added DNS to both cloudflare and dreamhost and doesnt work.
DNS records
A 525 error means Cloudflare can’t make an SSL connection to your origin. It may be that your host needs to see their IP address in the DNS in order to configure their end, or some other issue.
For now, pause Cloudflare or set the DNS record to “DNS only” instead of “Proxied” which will bypass Cloudflare and go direct to your host. Work with your host to get your site working properly like that. Once working you can try to re-enable the Cloudflare proxy again.

Ok I played around some more and got it to work. So I guess I need to talk to dreamhost now
Alright I guess that was a fluke, doesnt work anymore. Will let it seat for awhile and see. Maybe it needs time.

Keep the DNS record in place, just make sure it’s set to “DNS only”, then work with your host to get it working before re-enabling the proxy.
That’s ok then. Leave like that until your host fixes it, as if you proxy it they will just keep passing you back to Cloudflare.
