I have a Vultr Object Storage bucket that I want to connect to my domain. It claims to be S3-compatible. When I add an A record with the object storage, I get a bucket does not exist error.
You might have better luck in a Vultr specific community. If turning the orange cloud off
doesn’t fix it (at least temporarily) then it’s not Cloudflare interfering.

According to Vultr’s FAQ, this isn’t possible on their end at the moment. One possibility would be to use Cloudflare Enterprise to manipulate the host header or use a proxy server that does this for you.
Hope that helps!
