Configuring subdomain on own NS within Cloudflare

I have my root living on cloudflare as the NS. I want to configure a subdomain for that root to be on its own NS within cloudflare as well. When I try and create a domain sub.root.com it does not allow me to create a domain that is being registered as a subdomain. How can I add cloudflare as a separate NS for the subdomain?

To add a subdomain as a separate zone on Cloudflare requires an Enterprise plan…

On other plans, you can just create subdomain DNS records…
