Configuring google sites with Cloudflare, having issues using private domain

Hello, I am a newbie and would appreciate your help. I have a website called ourtimebank.com. I recently revised the site and created a new version of it on google sites. I would like to point my private domain name to this new site. The google address is Our Time Bank

I configured it using the instructions on the google sites help article. But it’s been 24 hours and the domain still points at the old site.

I also tried following the Steegle setup instructions. I’m fairly sure that the CNAME is setup correctly and the site is set to public.

This is what my dns page looks like.

I’m really new at this, so any help is much appreciated, thank you!

The CNAME for www pointing to ghs.googlehosted.com should be set to “DNS only” so Google can see it.

mail should also be set to “DNS only” if this is used by mail clients to receive and send email.

Your A record for your apex domain ourtimebank.com points at another (I assume your old) host which is probably why you see your old site at ourtimebank.com and your new site at www.ourtimebank.com.

Once www.ourtimebank.com works on Google, you can consider redirecting ourtimebank.com to www.ourtimebank.com on Cloudflare.

Thank you for your help. The CNAME is set to “DNS only” and I just changed the mail setting to DNS only as well. Can you tell me how to set my A record to the new site? I don’t know how to do that. Thank you kindly.

You will need a Redirect Rule for that. Take a look at example number one in the following guide.

Thank you for this. Your help is so much appreciated.
