Configure DNS

What is the name of the domain?

orientalenterprises.ca

What is the issue you’re encountering

Website not pointing to Cloudflare

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have changed the name servers to the one provided by Cloudflare. Configured the DNS records.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Edit DNS records. Screenshot of the DNS records is attached. Please suggest what changes do I make in DNS records

Screenshot of the error

The record that points to your apex domain orientalenterprises.ca is “DNS only” and not proxied, so requests will go direct to your origin and not to Cloudflare.

Also make sure your mail record is set to “DNS only”, not “Proxied”, as Cloudflare only proxies HTTP/S traffic (unless using Cloudflare Spectrum).

I changed the DNS to proxied. Now I am getting this error on opening the URL

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Check your SSL/TLS setting is set to “Full (strict)” in your dashboard here…
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/ssl-tls

It is set to Flexible

Changed to Full, now website is working.
Thanks a lot

Use “Full (strict)” so Cloudflare validates the SSL certificate on your origin and the connection is secured.

ok. Will do that.
Thanks
