is it possible to configure application policy to only require traffic from a given IP range, skipping any type of additional authentication?

No problem at all. You can create an access group with the IPs/IP Ranges use it for different access application.

hm, yes, but you can’t create a rule that i can see without requiring some kind of additional authentication
I’m pretty new to this but as far as I can see you could just set up the email code authentication but then use the IP address with a Bypass policy. So it would only come up with the authentication prompt if you are not accessing from that IP and any login request would go nowhere. I have not tried this and could be wrong
