Configure 1.1.1.1 DNS (block malware domains, etc.)

Is it possible to configure 1.1.1.1 DNS like nextdns.io?

I would love to see these features (malware domain blocking, ad blocking…) in 1.1.1.1.
Is there plan to include these features in future?

No.

I doubt because 1.1.1.1 was built for better privacy and internet usage without any barriers.

Well You can but you will need get raspberry pi and install pi-hole this way you can block or get list to block malware domains and still using CloudFlare for DNS query’s

Actually, they’ve ported the latest version (https://pi-hole.net/) to various Linuxes as well as Docker. So, it could go on another machine, but the Raspberry Pi is an easy and cheap solution. That’s what I’m doing.

Just to update this thread, there are a couple of options for this available now.

Simple setup but less customisable (choose between blocking malware or blocking malware and adult content) :

More complex to set up but configurable (can choose to block by category):
