Community Content Moderation Policy

This is a community for people who want to learn and help each other. It is a place to discuss how Cloudflare works, how to most effectively leverage features, and how we can make it better.

At Cloudflare we are strong advocates of free speech. That being said, within this community we expect a certain level of civilized discourse and respect be shown for and by all participants. Below are the general guidelines we expect everyone to follow, and the consequences when they aren’t.

  • No personal attacks or name calling (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • No disclosure of the private information of other users (IPs, emails, etc.)
  • No complaints about “Cloudflare blocking site access” to certain browsers or users (talk to site operator)
  • No discussion around your feelings of the merit or legality of the content on a site

If threads are started that fail to follow the stated guidelines, they will be closed. If prohibited comments are left on other topics, they will be deleted. Complaints about comment deletion will also be deleted.

If you would like to report that a site is conducting illegal or inappropriate activities you can file a report at Cloudflare.com/abuse.

If you would like to learn more about Cloudflare’s position on free speech, we recommend you read this post on our blog.

If you have questions or would like to discuss this policy, please feel free to start a topic in this category (Meta) and tag me. I’ll be happy to discuss further.
