Comcast/Cloudflare connection problems

#1

I have a number of sites hosted by wpengine.com. They have been all working fine until today when I started receiving 502, 522 and 525 errors. Working with wpengine we determined everything is working fine there and the problem only occurs when connecting through Comcast. Other connections, such as AT&T work fine.

I did a traceroute which came back fine (see below). I have found other references to this problem on Google searches but no resolutions. Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

Traceroute has started…

Update: Our sites have started working again, no idea why. May have been a local Comcast issue as other people in Michigan could not connect to some other sites.

Can’t speak to any issues that Comcast may or may not have been having, but you can always check cloudflarestatus.com to get updates on any major issues with Cloudflare.

(And thanks for coming back and updating that it was back to normal)

For the record, we’re having this problem today too. One of the sites I maintain comes up via AT&T but not via Comcast.

This is the error we’re getting though: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH)

Happens in both Chrome and Safari.

Cannot open my website. Getting SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP error after activating Cloudflare
Suddenly a SSL error via Comcast but will load fine via AT&T
HTTPS stop to work suddenly
