CNAME to cloudflare-ipfs enforce HTTPS not working

The thread above essentially asks the same issue, but it never found an answer and it has been closed for further comments.

We added a CNAME pointing to cloudflare-ipfs.com.
There is a TXT record associated with name _dnslink and value dnslink=/ipfs/<CID>.

It actually works fine, however when I request the domain with http, I get http served, if I request the domain with https, I get https served.

How can I enforce HTTPS? The “Always use HTTPS” option is on. SSL config is set to “Full”.

Short answer, you cannot. There is no ability to control requests to a sub domain in this situation.
