Cname subdomain going to wrong destinatoin

Hi there,

I have a CNAME subdomain which points to a landing page tool clickfunnels, however I no longer use this. I tried to update the destination from

subdomain : target clickfunnels com
to
subdomain : mywebsite com

however, it still points to target clickfunnels com

Not sure how to fix this.
