I have a minecraft server which I host through a domain link for security reasons (prevents some ddos attacks). I have two DNS record links for the server, one for Java (that routes through tcp shield), and one for Bedrock, which is technically a direct IP access, but I can disable it with tcp shield.
Sometime yesterday my main java port which starts with “mc.” stopped working all together. I confirmed it was this particular record by changing it to a direct ip link and it still failing. My bedrock record, which starts with “mcbr.” works, but whenever I attach “mc.” to anything, it stops working. What happened? It was working fine for a whole year until it just… broke.
