CNAME, SSL and CF plans

Hello all,

I’m trying to understand if there is a solution for my use case, without going Enterprise - which we absolutely can’t offer right now.

I’m a saas offering hosted ecommerce solutions for our customers. We want the classic following:

www.customer1.com, whose registrar is not CF and we have mysaas.com here in CF.

Something like this:

www.customer1.com CNAME to customer1-mysass.com.cdn.cloudflare.net (on my customer’s DNS)
customer1.mysass.com A name to 255.255.255.255 (on my CF account)

And just as importantly, the customer should have a universal edge certificate to reach https://www.customer1.com

Reading https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020615111-Configuring-a-CNAME-setup
I’m not sure if the business plan allows this.

Thanks for your help!

That wouldn’t work. That is a use case for SSL for SaaS, which I believe requires the enterprise plan.

Thank you. Extremely unfortunate.
