I have a CNAME record set up but it’s propagating as an A record not as CNAME.
Not sure what I need to do to resolve it. I’ve seen some info on CNAME flattening - this option appears to be turned on in my DNS settings (I don’t have a second option in the drop down).
Any advice?
Welcome to the Cloudflare Community. 
When a CNAME is 
proxied, it will be published as A and AAAA records pointing to Cloudflare. If you need your CNAME to be published as a CNAME, you must set it to 
DNS Only.
I did not know that. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it. I’ve adjusted it now and will wait for it to propagate.
…and it’s propagated already.
