CNAME record doesn't open the subdomain I'm adding, but it redirects to the main domain I'm trying to alias with!

Hello,

I have an A record for one of my subdomain. Now I’m trying to create an alias of this subdomain. I created a CNAME record with the value ‘Mike’ and pointed to the above subdomain. But when I try to load mike[.]mydmain[.]com, it opens that initial subdomain!
It basically redirects to the sub domain I’m trying to alias with! How can I open mike[.]mydmain[.]com?

You’ll need to configure your origin webserver to accept mike.mmydomain.com as an additional alias for the site it’s serving.
