CNAME from subdomain on AWS to domain on cloudflare

I want to point blog.billboardify.net to billboardify.blog. billboardify.net is hosted on aws and is managed by route 53, billboardify.blog is on Cloudflare. I want a CNAME from the blog.billboardify.net to billboardify.blog. I setup a CNAME in Route53 and directed it to billboardify.blog but Cloudflare was complaining with error 1001 when i try to access it. Is there any configuration needed on the Cloudflare side?

thanks

You have to setup within CF, so set the domain name to Server IP, subdomain in CF pointing the server IP then go to page rule to create the redirect. Hope that helps.

The domain billboardify.net can’t be moved to Cloudflare if thats what youre saying. I came across this it might be the solution. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020348832-Understanding-a-CNAME-Setup

Just go where your domain reside and use CF DNS and add your domain to CF. That’s the only solution I know off.
