Cname for site pointing to Cloudflare

I have a survey site, let’s call it www.example.com, that uses Cloudflare.

Now, there is a company (www.abc.com) I work with that needs to put (as part of my partnership agreement) my survey site as a cname to their site (survey.abc.com) which will point to www.example.com.

They set up the cname on their servers but now I’m getting a DNS resolution error (1001).

Is there anything I should do on the Cloudflare account to make this work?

This sounds like a loop: You have a Survey site that you want as a CNAME that points to survey.abc.com, which in turn is a CNAME that points to www.example.com?

Ultimately, if you want someone to be able to point a CNAME to your own Cloudflare site, I believe you need SaaS, which is practically an Enterprise plan.
