Ok, so, from the past 7 days, I have been trying to add a docs subdomain using CNAMe record. I am hosting the website on Gitbooks, but somehow Cloudflare is blocking the request by saying " CNAME Cross-User Banned". I have used GItbooks with Cloudflare but never encountered such error. Please help.
When you create a CNAME record where the target is using Cloudflare, the owner of the target domain has to allow your domain to create a CNAME to it.
The error you see suggests that this has not happened yet - have you followed their guide on how to add a custom domain?
Also, have you made sure that your record is set to DNS-only as they suggest?
