CNAME added for MailerLite but it never authenticates

I literally have the same issue as:

For me the CNAME is:

litesrv._domainkey.classicbakes.com value: litesrv._domainkey.mlsend.com

MailerLite is stuck on “authenticating” for months.

It’s set to DNS only (not proxy). I’ve been trying this for months. MailerLite support has also helped me to no avail.

The record is behaving as if it is a proxied CNAME, or entered directly as a TXT record.

Check that CNAME flattening is set to “Flatten CNAME at apex” here…
