What is the issue you’re encountering
To work in Device Information only mode a user certificate needs to be generated on the phone, according the manual the app should create the certificate and save it on a local folder on the mobile device. Doing this produces the mentioned error message. Checking under the files & folder section on the mobile device the app is not listed (and therefore not requested) file access. So my best gues is currently the app has no acces to the local filesystem and is therefore not able to save the certificate.

Install / Uninstall app
iOS Version is 18.1.1 / IpadOS 18.1.1
Newest Warp Client (Cloudflare One) 1.7
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Install Cloudflare One Client
Define a ZTNA WARP Profile in Service Mode : Device Information Only
Start VPN
Device will claim that it has no certificate, but you can create one out of the app and asks for a password
Giving the password will produce the error message, mentioned above
