Hi guys, i just installed cloudflare tunnel on my Local LAN server to be able to access some services from outside the network, in which i have 2fa access through my email. The issue is that whenever i create a A DNS record on my DNS settings pointing to a IP outside my network, Cloudflare tunnel is viewing this as its inside my LAN, therefore it is asking for 2FA access.
Can you guys clarify this. thanks a lot
Cloudflare tunnels by themselves don’t have any authentication. Authentication comes via Access policies applied to hostnames (regardless of whether they are proxied via a tunnel or not). Sounds like you may have a wildcard access policy requiring authentication. You can remove that or create explicit policies for hostnames to not require authentication.
