We recently switched our hosting provider from Siteground to WPMU. I’ve been noticing recently since then that my site has been getting ‘90% of daily request limit for Cloudflare Workers reached’ emails towards the end of the month. I don’t recall this being an issue before. But I did notice a worker called ‘sg_worker’ that I don’t ever recall setting up. Could this be associated with Siteground? If so, since we’re being hosted on WPMU can I delete it? Does a website crash and stop working if you delete workers? I’m unfamiliar with it, what it does, and am looking for some advice if I need to keep it or not.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
If you reach 100% of daily requests (and have an origin), do as it says in the email!
"If you are using a Worker in front of an existing domain, you can disable it or set the route to fail open in the dashboard to continue to pass requests to your origin."
