I have a wordpress.com site on the creator plan. It has a provision to enable the wordpress CDN . Do I need to enable this CDN when I am already on Cloudflare
Hi,
When you are already using Cloudflare, which offers a range of optimisations and security features beyond just a CDN, you may not necessarily need to enable the WordPress CDN. Cloudflare is a multi-featured reverse proxy that includes CDN capabilities along with other optimisations and security features.
Cloudflare helps improve website speed by caching content on servers closer to visitors, enhancing performance and security for WordPress sites.
Enabling Cloudflare on your WordPress site involves creating a Cloudflare account, adding your domain name, changing your domain’s nameservers, and configuring HTTPS settings for security.
By utilising Cloudflare’s services, you benefit from improved website speed, reduced bandwidth costs, increased content availability, enhanced security against DDoS attacks, and more.
Therefore, if you are already using Cloudflare for your WordPress site, you can leverage its comprehensive features without necessarily needing to enable the WordPress CDN separately.
