Hi,

Go into your Cloudflare dashboard for your website, and click on the “Security tab” on the left, then go in to “Events”. You should see a list of recent events in the Activity Log. It will probably say “Managed Challenge”.

You can click on the event to see why Cloudflare served you a Managed Challenge. It could be a WAF rule you have made, or it could be your website’s Security Level you have configued under Security Settings

@soldier_21 Hello, many thanks.
Turns out my account was in UNDER ATTACK mode, which of course I disabled.
I am sure I would not have turned this on myself.
Any guesses on what could have turned this on?
I don’t have any rulesets.
The SECURITY > EVENTS page is full of managed challenge events.
Events only go back 24 hours? There is nothing available for download.
Could I figure out what put my account in UNDER ATTACK if there was a way to go back a week when all this started?
Again many thanks for your help. I need to LEARN cloudflare badly.

You can use the audit log to look back to see when changes, such as turning on under attack mode, were made.

In a free account, you can go back 2 weeks for firewall events, although you can only show 24 hours at a time.
