I know this sounds strange, but can you add in a domain into Cloudflare even though there is no site to host? The domain has a lot of email records etc, but only offers a forward from the CCTLD (.co.nz) to the .com address. The .com address is in Cloudflare and want to add in the cctld too so I can point the A record to the com address. Would Cloudflare allow that? The reason is I don’t have access to the Domain records currently, and can only change the nameservers.
You sure can! You’ll just add all the DNS records, and for the redirect, use a Page Rule. Make sure the DNS entry for the .co.nz website is set to so you can add a Page Rule for forwarding.
