Using Cloudflare-warp app as a local Socks5 proxy server to proxy connections for my browser to the Internet, but when i upgrade the cloudflare-warp app to version 2024.9.346.0 for my Ubuntu 24.04 LTS amd64 PC, i cannot connect to any site. Hi @Vitaly_V,

Is this only happening with Firefox? What if you try a different browser? Have you verified that QUIC is disabled in your browser? WARP modes | Cloudflare WARP client docs

There is already a big discussion about it: Cloudflare-warp version 2024.9.346.0 Proxy mode issue

Please, instead of locking old threads, and then throwing docs at the customer, READ the forum, PRIORITIZE widespread issues and get those FIXED

The reason why this problem occurred is that the latest version of Cloudflare-Warp 2024.9.346.0 suddenly dropped the support for Proxy DNS over SOCK5, so if unchecked the Proxy over DNS option in FireFox network settings, it will work, but that leads to a very obvious DNS leak in Proxy mode.

Good insight, thank you for the update! Now im going to stay with the old version for as long as I can. I can’t believe they locked your topic, and now nobody can update the situation, thanks again for helping out. Much userful than @bujangnim’s careless, ignorance response

I think the latest version cloudflare-warp_2024.11.309.0 solved the problem, and it works just like a charm on my PC and laptop now.

Ah! Very good to know, sounds like I can finally update mine, thanks again for keeping us updated!
