Cloudflare WARP+ PoP List

Howdy,

It seems like connecting to 1.1.1.1 from Qatar for DNS only routes through the DOH (Doha, Qatar) PoP with 1-4ms latency.
The moment WARP+ is enabled it goes through SIN (Singapore) and results in 100ms+ latency and very low speeds. The behavior is the same on Mobile Data, and a Fiber network.

So the issue is not ISP peering/routing here, is WARP not enabled on all PoPs? There are countless DCs closer than SIN but when WARP is enabled they are not used.

Traceroute (WARP disabled and using 1.1.1.1 DNS):

tracert one.one.one.one

Tracing route to one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

So, is WARP only enabled on certain DCs? If so, which ones?
It might be easier to state which ones don’t support WARP.

CF support wasn’t very helpful, I think they thought routing to 1.1.1.1 was a problem even with WARP off.

But regardless, what I can gather so far is that not all CF DCs have WARP enabled, so don’t waste a lot of time trying to figure out why / contacting your ISP.

Maybe I’m wrong though, I don’t know.
