Cloudflare WAF : Incoming / Outgoing Monitoring

Hi Community,

I have a query regarding WAF that is does Cloudflare WAF monitors both incoming traffic & outgoing replies or is it only incoming traffic ?

When a visitor clicks the site, the incoming traffic goes through the waf but does the reply to it also goes from the waf?
