Verification loop!

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Hello,

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Cloudflare’s verification screen. When I try to access a certain website, the Cloudflare check keeps looping and never completes — I’m not able to proceed past the verification.

Interestingly, when I open the same website in Incognito/Private mode, everything works fine.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Cleared all cookies and cache (for all time).

  • Completely reset my browser settings.

  • Created and used a brand new browser profile.

  • Disabled and even uninstalled all extensions.

  • Switched DNS to both Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1).

  • Temporarily disabled antivirus and firewall.

  • Unfortunately, none of these steps helped.

The Ray ID I received is: 932843f0de9f34b0

I’d really appreciate your help in resolving this issue or any guidance you can provide.

Best regards, Thomas

Hello, @Knopi!
I’m sorry to read you having difficulties while trying to access your domain. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this behavior, so I could offer you a solution.
Perhaps you can check under Security > Events for your zone, and filter by Ray-ID. It could give you more insights on what is happening.
In case you have onboarded your zone in a Full Setup, please also make sure you have completed it successfully as described in our documentation and that you don’t have any A or AAAA records pointing to Cloudflare IPs. Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your reply. I want to more clarification my problem.

Unable to access websites with Cloudflare verification – IP related issue

Hi, I don’t have any website by my own. I am private user of PC

I’ve been experiencing an issue where I am unable to access websites protected by Cloudflare’s verification system. Specifically, I am stuck in a verification loop, and the page never fully loads. This issue only happens in normal browsing mode, while in incognito mode everything works fine.

Here’s what I have already tried:

  1. I have tested different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) with no success.
  2. I disabled all browser extensions and even reset my browser settings to default.
  3. I have cleared cookies, cache, and flushed DNS (via ipconfig /flushdns in Command Prompt).
  4. I disabled SSL scanning and other features in my antivirus software (Bitdefender), but that did not resolve the issue.
  5. I tried using Google and Cloudflare’s DNS servers (1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8), but the problem persists.
  6. I have already contacted my internet service provider (ISP), and they changed my public IP address. This solved the issue with accessing websites like PlayStation.com, but Cloudflare still gives me the verification loop with the new IP.

Additional Information:

  • I have a static public IP that was previously blocked by Cloudflare (I received an “Access Denied” message for PlayStation.com).
  • After my ISP changed the IP, PlayStation.com worked, but Cloudflare verification still doesn’t work with the new IP.
  • I am unable to contact my ISP for further changes since they already modified the IP once.

My Question:

Is there a way to remove my public IP from Cloudflare’s blocklisting?
Is there any way to resolve the issue with the Cloudflare verification loop given that my IP may still be on their blocklist?

Possible Solutions I Have Considered:

  • Contacting Cloudflare support to request removal of my IP from their blocklist.
  • Testing with VPN (though this is not a long-term solution, it confirms the issue is related to my IP).
  • Changing my IP once again, but my ISP may not be willing to do this again.

Could anyone suggest further steps I should take or provide any insights into how Cloudflare handles IP blocks and how to bypass this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello, @Knopi!
You can inspect your IP through Project Honey Pot, and check the steps it will offer you depend on result you’ll get. You can also send a general report to Cloudflare Trust & Safety asking them for help regarding your case. Thank you!

Thanks for your replay. When I write my IPv4 adres in: “Project Honey Pot” I get message: “We don’t have data on this IP currently. If you know something, you may leave a comment.”

And additionally I sended a detailed description and report where you indicated. Now I have to wait for a response.
