Cloudflare UI causes Linux Firefox crash

Recently, the Cloudflare UI starting causing Firefox (Linux) to crash. I switched to using Chromium with Cloudflare and have no problems using that browser. If anyone cares about the Firefox issue, I’ll pin down the exact circumstance, but it’s difficult. When it happens, my browser picks up where it left off so it crashes immediately. I’m using Linux Mint (Ubuntu variant). Here is system information:

Users can no longer login on Linux Mint, Firefox, browser crashes opening dashboard during login. Site comes up, login is processed, then while opening the first page with my domains the Firefox browser crashes,

Operating system Linux Mint, all updated, upgraded, cookies and history cleared.

Starting the standby Windows VM, when I run in these kind of issues, running Windows 10 / Chrome got me in for now

This is also happening to me on the latest macOS Firefox as well. Not a great experience signing up for Cloudflare the first time

Same issue on fedora 35

I have also sometimes experienced crashes when navigating to “Transform Rules” using the sidebar of the new UI.

Just adding to the chain that this also occurs for me on Manjaro Linux. Firefox version 96.0.2

Firefox crashes, possibly related to the recent similar topic as described here in two cases?:

This is affecting me on OS X Firefox. I have a crash report I can share privately.

¡Hola y’all!

Happy :taco: Tuesday!

Seems to be 1736069 - Crash in [@ webrender::spatial_tree::SceneSpatialTree::add_spatial_node] caused by retained display lists
It is seemingly fixed in Firefox Nightly builds.

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-crashes-closing-or-quitting seems relevant.

Hope this helps.

¡Gracias!
