When I or my customers use Cloudflare Turnstile on mobile devices, it doesn’t work at all and I believe it is a broken product that needs an urgent fixing.
To reproduce this, on any mobile device try iOS or Android Turnstile starts verifying:
But, we have seen similar problems beforre, it might be due to a compatibility issue with certain mobile devices or browsers. To begin troubleshooting, can try the following steps?
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Try accessing Turnstile from a different browser or mobile device.
Make sure you are using the latest version of your mobile browser.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, perhaps share more details, like the specific mobile device, browser, and its version you’re using?
I have accessed the site I am using on Chrome and it works better than Safari, however Safari on mobile is mostly used on iOS devices so Turnstile should work with minimal failures on there.
To reproduce I have cleared my cookies and have used incognito mode and now I am noticing more failures than usual with Cloudflare Turnstile.
I have a site that I would like to send over that has the issue but I want to send it privately, how do I do this?
Hi @hakir, I’m an engineer on the Challenges and Turnstile team. The current version of WebKit in iOS 17 Preview has a bug which unfortunately results in the behavior you’re seeing. We’re working with Apple to resolve the issue before iOS 17 is released later this year. Thanks!
