Cloudflare Tunnel without SSL is possible?

Hello,
I want to expose my local app with Cloudflare tunnel on http protocol.

For this I prepared test setup.

I made http python server on my RaspberryPi at _http://localhost:8000
I’ve successfully created tunnel and point my domain to that tunnel.

When I opened my URL http://raspberry.mypersonaldomain.com it automatically redirected me to https://raspberry.mypersonaldomain.com page and works great.

Then I added two page rules to my domain raspberry.mypersonaldomain.com:

  • SSL off
  • Automatic HTTPS rewrites off

I’ve got an error

This page isn’t working raspberry.mypersonaldomain.com redirected you too many times.

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Want I want is to expose my app via simple http without https.

Why? Because of this and this

Is it possible?
Thanks in advance!

You can still do SSL to Cloudflare, then the requests sent via the tunnel can go through HTTP.

If you still want HTTP then I would check your browser settings as some have started auto changing to HTTPS and failing back to HTTPS if HTTPS isn’t available.

This option didn’t work. Here is explanation:.

I have a very weird issue with Cloudflare tunnel.
I am tunneling KiwiSDR and running cloudflared tunnel on the beaglebone.
/kiwisdr.min.js and a few other files will get 502 Bad Gateway/Cloudflare error when users try to visit the URL via https. When visiting via http, everything works fine. This is very weird. In the Cloudflare tunnel config file, I’m pointing to http://localhost:8080
Cloudflare tunnel log show no error

That’s why I need pure http without any SSL .

If you still want HTTP then I would check your browser settings as some have started auto changing to HTTPS and failing back to HTTPS if HTTPS isn’t available.

I’ve checked on both Chrome and Firefox. Also cUrl not working correctly. I don’t think this is problem with browser (with http client).
