502 Bad gateway

What is the error message?

bad gateway host error

What is the issue you’re encountering

I’ve never been able to access my website using the domain codermerch.store that points to my home server. Despite configuring DNS to point to Cloudflare, the site has never been accessible

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve set up DNS to point to a Cloudflare ID, but the site remains inaccessible. I’m unsure if the issue is with Cloudflare’s configuration or something else related to my server setup at home. On my server, I’ve checked and confirmed that the DNS settings are correctly configured, ensuring that codermerch.store points to Cloudflare. I’ve also verified the server’s firewall settings and checked that the web server is running properly. Despite this, the site is still inaccessible

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Set up the domain codermerch.store with Cloudflare, pointing to a Cloudflare ID. 2. The site remains inaccessible. 3. I have a sub domain dev.codermerch.store which works fine and points to an aws ip.
