Why is it the uncached entries are the slowest of all the resolvers and how would it affect the dns of a standard home?
Example, 184.108.40.206 is actually the fasted dns resolver on par with uunet and neustar however the uncached dns lookups of the utility are 80ms, the slowest ever.
Can some explain this and how many entries in real life will be uncached?
IVe had it use opendns as its a good halfway house, i have on prem DNS for a 1ms response time for cached queries, the rest goes out to an internet dns server
Id liek to use 220.127.116.11 for its family filtering but cant comprehend the 80ms delay for uncached queries when others dont have this issue
