[Cloudflare Support Staff Required] "This zone is banned and cannot be added to Cloudflare at this time, please contact Cloudflare Support. (Code: 1097)"

GTLD Domain web.fund is banned and I have no idea why this would be the case and there is zero way it seems to get this fixed with Cloudflare. The reason I want to add this is that I want to transfer the domain however this Code: 1097 is getting in the way.

Is there anyone in this company that is willing to talk to people or is it just fundamentally impossible to do this? I just get canned robot responses from the email support that has nothing to do with my problem.

You will have to contact support about it. Nothing the community can do I am afraid. If you reply to the support ticket after the autoresponses, you should get a response from support.

HI @chamunks, the input from @domjh is spot-on, Support will have to help you with this. Please post back with the ticket number and Iā€™ll route it to the appropriate team.

@cloonan it seems nearly impossible to figure out how the heck to get a ticket number every link or phone number I call just routes me back to this place or the Help Center which says something along the lines of if youā€™re not an enterprise customer youā€™re effectively SOL.

Can you spell out the modern way you get past all of the walls that seem to be erected around getting any form of support with CF?

Ah, login and go to any support article, like this one, https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/205177068-Step-1-How-does-Cloudflare-work-, scroll to the bottom and click the green submit a request button.

Thanks everyone for pointing out that itā€™s all buried under a pile of other unrelated stuff before youā€™re able to just submit an issue.

@cloonan Thank you for contacting Cloudflare Technical Support. Your ticket number is 1616688. Soon, you will receive an email confirmation with ticket details.

I realize that you need to defend the actual support team from having to do work for the ā€œfreeā€ tier customers filing support requests but its incredibly infuriating getting to the end of the tunnel when youā€™re actually trying to end at a point where youā€™re giving CF any actual money. Iā€™m trying to add this domain because I want to transfer the domain to CF not because I need someone to do the DNS for it.

Wow this is insane, I missed the stupid domain in my ticket request and thereā€™s no clear way to modify the support request. God forbid I needed to do this in a hurry.

You can add to your support request if you need to. You should be able to view the ticket (link in email) or reply to the email.

Hi @chamunks, I was able to note it on the ticket and see it was already routed to the trust & safety team.

Ah, thank goodness, well I submitted my request and my update and we will see how long it takes. When it rains it pours my glue records on a different domain melted in the last 48 hours and itā€™s just been a struggle. Iā€™ve never had these many problems all at once with DNS ever. Thanks again @cloonan much appreciated.

Resolved thank you.
