What is the issue you’re encountering

Cloudflare has suddenly started to block WebSocket connections

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Ensured that WebSocket setting is enabled in the Network settings for the domain.
  2. Disabled proxy for the the intended DNS record after which I was able to connect to origin server using websocket from my client.
  3. Ensured that firewall on the origin server is disabled.
