I know cloudflare is getting my stream data because it updates the screenshot but I can’t stream at all. If I change just the rtmp link from cloudflare to any other live streaming service it works just fine. I’ve tried changing resolution, and bitrate but nothing seems to work. I’ve had this issue for over a year and a half now.
For cloudflare I would select custom and use rtmps://live.cloudflare.com:443/live/ for server and add my live input streamkey.
Again cloudflare receives my stream it even captures thumbnails for the video. It just will not play any video when you press play. it just buffers forever.
I appreciate you responding. I’ve heard nothing back from @tsmith512 or from anyone in the official Cloudflare discord or my support ticket #01205942 that i submitted almost two months ago.
I was unable to get diagnostic information from before, I apologize for the delay. If I may ask you to try again and I’ll try to capture tomorrow. A few questions, then I’ll offer some recommended settings to try again:
What device/operating system is running OBS?
What video card or hardware, if you know?
What options does OBS give you for “Video Encoder”?
I would recommend making these adjustments to the settings you showed above:
B Frames: 0
Target Usage: I would select a midrange option for this
Profile: although “high” should work, let’s try “main”
If these adjustments don’t result in a playable broadcast, let’s see if changing Video Encoder to “x264” works — that’d be a software encoder in OBS rather than trying to use your video card.
What device/operating system is running OBS?
Windows 11 23H2 Build 22631.4602
What video card or hardware, if you know?
I have an Nvidia 3090 TI and Intel UHD Graphics 770 Built-in My CPU Intel i9-12900ks
What options does OBS give you for “Video Encoder”?
AOM AV1
NVIDIA NVENC H.264
NVIDIA NVENC HVEC
QuickSync H.264
QuickSync HVEC
SVT-AV1
x264
Created a brand new Live Input ID:b97e8161a149a89144983c195721fd2e
Still not working. In the cloudflare dashboard it shows a still image from my stream in the video player but if I try to watch I get infinite buffer.
I tried NVIDIA NVENC H.264, QuickSync H.264, and x264.
