It’s been past 48 hours since I have added this site to Cloudflare.
It seems to be an issue with the Cloudflare intermediate certificate.
Take a look here, please:
Use our fast SSL Checker will help you troubleshoot common SSL Certificate installation problems on your server including verifying that the correct certificate is installed, valid, and properly trusted.
Our hosting team installed the Let’s encrypt SSL, no problem. But when we try to combine it with Cloudflare certificate, it’s giving us this error.
Can Cloudflare take a look at this and see if we can fix this for good, the SSL should work properly then.
SSL = Full
DNS Proxy = ON
Scroll down to the bottom of that page, disable Universal SSL, give it a minute and then enable Universal SSL.
Ok thank you.
I did that and now when browse to the page I get the error on the attached screen shot.
And I forgot to mention there is now a cert in my Edge Certificates area
Loads up fine for me on Firefox and Chrome - might just be your browser caching it.
Cleared my cache and the site loads now so we are making progress.
Now my Chrome browser is coming back saying the site is “Not secure” (in red) up in the address bar. And when you click on that it says “Your connection to this site is not secure” and that the certificate is valid.
ok problem is resolved. It took a few minutes and then it just started working.
Thank you for all your help.
