Cloudflare registrar - ns bug report

BUG REPORT: If you register with CF as your domain Registrar, only CF can set your NS records. If you subsequently delete your website record and recreate, then you run a lottery on what new NS set you are allocated. This can lead your domain t go to PENDING state and become unusable.

For example, you register and are initially allocated [LORNA/ZOD], delete from websites on CF, recreate at Websites on CF you might then be allocated [ALEX/SRENNI] with no way to change the recorded NS - result PENDING state and domain failure

What are you suppose to do if you can’t change the nameservers? Will there be a fix for this bug?

Currently you would need to open a Registrar ticket if you delete and re-add a domain and it is stuck pending.

To contact the Registrar Support team, please submit a new support request from your Cloudflare account directly through the Cloudflare dashboard. Visit https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support and choose Cloudflare Registrar. Please share your ticket number here so that we can track it.

Her’s my new ticket Number… #3005344

Yeah, I got the same issue. It is a very important and annoying bug considering it stops resolving all of your domain’s DNS queries, which is very bad. I am not able to check my emails currently…

I wonder if there is a plan to fix the underlying issue because it seems one of the most common topic in the community. How much time did it took for them to fix your issue?
