Cloudflare redirects EU users through Moscow (522)

Why Cloudflare redirects European users (for example Finland, Estonia) through Moscow?
I dont think it’s good to redirect our traffic outside EU.

Im just a regular web user, and have seen a lot of 522 errors last week, status always shows that Cloudflare redirects me through Moscow servers. To connect back with European servers, like for what reason such big circle is being made?
