Cloudflare Pages DNS not resolving

I have a site served on Cloudflare Pages https://giggling-squid-static.pages.dev/

I have a DNS record also on Cloudflare that points to this site https://www.gigglingsquid.com/

On some networks I’m not able to resolve the www. address.

There are also lots of assets failing to resolve on https://giggling-squid-static.pages.dev/

The strangest thing is that when I run a diagnostic I’m getting a lot of errors: Diagnostic Center | Check SSL and Test Website Security | Cloudflare UK

I can’t see any reported outages on Cloudflare’s status page. Nothing has changed on my site in last 24 hours and the problem started about 12 hours ago. Is any one else experiencing this issue?

a.gtld-servers.net which is the ‘root nameserver’ for the .com TLD is saying your domain doesn’t exist.

How long ago did you switch to Cloudflare nameservers?

We switched Jan 2022. Everything has been working fine until about 12h ago. Thank you for sharing that, do you know why Cloudflare would suddenly say my domain no longer exists? I’ve checked the DNS tab on the Cloudflare UI and everything is as it was when we set up at the beginning of the year

I’m not talking about Cloudflare, your domain has a clientHold status which instructs your registrar to ‘deactivate’ DNS.

This status code tells your domain’s registry to not activate your domain in the DNS and as a consequence, it will not resolve. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes, non-payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.
