I am having a static website hosted with cloudflare pages and i attached to custom domains to it. One for production app.playsum.live that is working fine. Now i wanted to add a custom subdomain for the dev branches on a different domain than the production domain. The sub/domain for the dev branch should be dev..co. I added both subdomains (app..live and app..co) as a custom domain to cloudflare pages and added the respective cname entries in the dns settings of both domains. The production one app..live pointing to .pages.dev works fine but app..co pointing to dev..pages.dev is not working (it redirects me to the cloudflare access page, but there is no access policy attached to this pages project) Thanks in advance

I have a domain managed by Cloudflare, that I use to open a site on pages, and development branches protected by Cloudflare zero trust authentication, everything works great. I created a “preview” subdomain to open the “preview” branch (preview.example.pages.dev), but it doesn’t work with zero trust authentication. When I click the link from the confirmation email I am redirected to a page that does not exist, I get a 404 page not found: This preview.example.com page can’t be found No webpage was found for the web address: https:// preview.example.com/cdn-cgi/access/authorized?nonce=etc… Everything works fine if I use the address directly preview.example.pages.dev Any suggestions? Thanks

You need to manually add the custom domain to Zero Trust policy.

Zero Trust → Access → Applications → (Your application) → Overview → Application domain

You should have both domains (.pages.dev + your custom domain) added here
