Cloudflare pages and custom domain does not resolve www

Hi everyone,

I have studied (it feels like) half of the internet and at least this time the instructions are consistent. Still, I am doing something wrong somehow:

• I am hosting a website on Cloudflare pages: site.pages.dev
• I have a custome domain: site.com
• I have added that domain with site.com under “custom domains” at Cloudflare pages.
• This only works for site.com and NOT for www.site.com
• I followed this (and other) instructions, so I created the A record and the redirect rule, but still, www.site.com will not resolve.

Any ideas, what I am doing wrong here?

tried that as well, unfortunately it does not work for some reason. CNAME Flattening is active, and the CNAME record in the DNS settings says " CNAME records normally can not be on the zone apex. We use CNAME flattening to make it possible."

Still no luck
