Cloudflare origin ssl not working on bluehost

Have you searched for an answer? Yes

When you tested your domain, what were the results? Didn’t work.

Describe the issue you are having: I have installed a valid origin cloudflare ssl on my bluehost cPanel and it does not work.

What error message or number are you receiving? No SSL installed

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare? Yes

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode? Yes

Do you have a local resolver (or /etc/hosts entry) that’s pointing j-ride.co.uk at your origin IP for development? Note that the Cloudflare origin SSL certificate only works between Cloudflare and your origin…

For me, accessing the site via Cloudflare, the site loads fine.

If you want the local resolver to work without the warning, use a LetsEncrypt cert or other on the origin.

(Or maybe just a cached DNS entry local to you that’s still resolving to Bluehost rather than Cloudflare as your WHOIS shows changes as of today)
