Update Nameservers

What is the issue you’re encountering

I was setting up cloudflare pages for my site revving.ai as a part of which cloudflare asked me to move the nameservers and I did. cloudflare asked me to update the nameservers for my domain revving.ai

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I was setting up cloudflare pages for my site revving.ai as a part of which cloudflare asked me to move the nameservers and I did. cloudflare asked me to update the nameservers for my domain revving.ai to be the following

Type Value
NS blair ns cloudflare com
NS mario ns cloudflare com

After few hours, it was updated and the site was working. I verified the same using whatsmydns.me

All of sudden today, I received another message from cloudflare asking me to update the nameservers. Below was the message I received

Update Nameservers

Hello,

We could not add revving.ai to your account because your nameservers (NS) are not yet pointing to Cloudflare.

TO CHANGE YOUR NAMESERVERS

  1. Log into your domain registrar
Find instructions for your specific registrar

  2. Update your current nameserver records with the ones we have assigned to revving.ai:

  3. gabriella ns cloudflare com

  4. wesley ns cloudflare com

Note: ONLY these two Cloudflare nameservers should be listed at your registrar. All other nameservers must be removed or Cloudflare will not work.

Is this a mistake? When i look at the DNS in my cloudflare account, it shows me the original nameservers that cloudflare asked me to update.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Nameservers

Since the nameserver pairs are different, it sounds like you added the domain to two different accounts? You should set the nameservers to the ones for whichever Cloudflare account you want to use.
