When I initially set up Cloudflare onto a domain I want to cache, the DNS records Cloudflare shows during the scan don’t show the various sub-domains that I can see are setup already in the DNS controls for the particular domain. Any idea why this would be?
Cloudflare only scans for common hostnames and may not detect all subdomains during the initial scan. To resolve this issue, manually add the missing subdomains in your Cloudflare DNS settings. Cross-check the DNS entries in your original DNS controls and match them with the ones in Cloudflare to ensure all subdomains are covered.
