Cloudflare not authenticating my site after successful txt challenges and A records. Domain cache is persistent from some other endpoint even after I'ved purged several times and waited 48 hour period

The tool I used to build the website uses the Cloudflare API and every time I enter the A records it tells me those A records have not been added yet, (but they have!)

If I use txt record challenges, the Application recognizes those. However, when accessing the site I still receive this image on the site.
