Cloudflare name servers

Hello there,
I’m working on a website have a domain from GoDaddy and hosting at Salla.sa
although i didn’t receive and credentials about Cloudflare account but Salla support tells me that domain is connected to a Cloudflare account.
attached a screenshot of DNS records , and if it true how to remove name servers and add new one to my new existing account on Cloudflare

It is…
https://cf.sjr.org.uk/tools/check?c771349bda254e129db90d3c9b9db073#dns

If you didn’t know about the Cloudflare account, someone will have set this up for you, maybe a previous developer or host. You can try to recover access using these steps…

If those don’t work you will need to add your domain to a new Cloudflare account, or another DNS provider, and take control of the DNS by changing the nameservers set at Godaddy.

it’s true my domain is associated to a Cloudflare account but i can’t access this account right now
what to do now ? change these name servers at GoDaddy and add new ones to this new account ?
how long would it take to happen , and does it affects my site ?

If you can’t access the account that’s currently active for your domain, then that’s all you can do if you need to make changes to your DNS.

Depending on external resolvers, it can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate across the internet although it’s usually faster. You will need to ensure you add all the required DNS records and any other settings to your new Cloudflare account before making the change to minimise any downtime or breakages.

So the only steps i need then just change those name servers at GoDaddy to new name servers from my new account and wait ?

Hi @goldevesa

Before you change the nameservers, then make sure that the DNS records you have in your account are the same that you see at Salla.sa, as a moved domain from one Cloudflare account to a new Cloudflare account often take the Cloudflare IP’s and not the IP’s given at your hosting provider.

So step 1 is to add the domain to your account.
step 2 double check that you have the correct DNS records in your Cloudflare account (should be the same DNS records that you see at your hosting provider
Step 3 change the nameservers at the registrar to point at the nameservers you have been given in your Cloudflare account.
