CloudFlare Issue?

Hi,

Since I have set my website that is hosted on my Linux Server (Nginx) at my house behind Cloudflare, I can only access my Adguard server, IP Cameras (Reolink), Uptime Kuna and Portainer on my public IP with the port before I was able to do my domain EG: shikatsotech .co.nz:446

I have tried to fix this with Nginx Proxy Manger and point my public IP with the port 446 to my domain name but that don’t work.

So yea if I can’t find a solution to this I might as well go with out Cloudflare.
anyone has a answer to this please.

King Regards

446 is not a supported port by Cloudflare list. You need to use a supported port or make the DNS record :grey: to use a different port.

Hi, Cyb3r-Jak3
Thanks for your reply so I have the same issue for port 3001 what’s my Uptime Kuma Server
and port 6969 What is my IP Cameras (Reolink) and also port 9443 waht is my Portainer
are they not supported ports as well?

From the list I linked

HTTP ports supported by Cloudflare

  • 80
  • 8080
  • 8880
  • 2052
  • 2082
  • 2086
  • 2095

HTTPS ports supported by Cloudflare

  • 443
  • 2053
  • 2083
  • 2087
  • 2096
  • 8443

Ports supported by Cloudflare, but with caching disabled

  • 2052
  • 2053
  • 2082
  • 2083
  • 2086
  • 2087
  • 2095
  • 2096
  • 8880
  • 8443

You might want to look at cloudflared for proxying.

yea I have so I did this in my DNS records is this right thing to do?

Yeah, any record that you want to use a different port than the supported ones.

so the type is A record and point to my public IP and with DNS only thats still not working doe or das it take a while for the records to kick in?

I’ve successfully used origin rules to hit ports outside the standard list. It should work to just make a new subdomain name and create a rule to hit port 446 from that subdomain / hostname.

It should be pretty quick depending on DNS cache.
